What happens at the end of my lease?
At the end of your lease term, you have several options:
- Renew the Lease: If you wish to continue using the furniture, you may have the option to renew your lease for another term.
- Return the Furniture: If you no longer need the furniture, you can return it to Makanhome according to the terms of your rental agreement.
- Purchase the Furniture: You may choose to purchase the furniture by paying the difference between what you've already paid in lease installments and the retail price of the furniture.
- Swap the Furniture: If you're looking for a change, you may have the option to swap your current furniture for different pieces that better suit your needs or preferences.
How do I buy an item I’m renting?
You can decide to buy your pieces at any time. You’ll pay the original retail price minus what you've already paid during your lease. If you want to buy your furniture upfront instead of renting, just contact us on WhatsApp.
Do I need to provide a deposit and when will it be returned?
Yes, we require a one-month deposit to safeguard our furniture. This deposit is fully refundable upon the return of the furniture at the end of your lease agreement or if you decide to purchase it.
Our goal is to ensure a transparent and fair process for our customers, free from any hidden surprises. We value your trust and are committed to making your furniture rental experience smooth and enjoyable.
Can I change my rental plan during the lease?
Yes, you can change your rental plan during the lease. For assistance and to discuss your options, please reach out to us on WhatsApp.
Where does your furniture come from?
We source our products from premium manufacturers in the UAE, the same that supply well known 5-star hotels such as Marriott and Hilton.
What happens if my pieces get damaged?
Treat the furniture as your own! We expect regular wear-and-tear (e.g. coffee stain). More extensive damages (e.g. broken table), are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
What are the differences between the 3-month plan and the 12-month plan?
Our rental plans are tailored to accommodate your unique needs, whether you're seeking a short-term solution or a long-term commitment.
3-month: Ideal for Temporary Needs
- Suitable For: Temporary setups and transitional phases.
Long-Term Plan: Perfect for Extended Use
- Suitable For: More permanent living situations or refreshing your space over time.
- Ownership: the furniture is yours after 24 months.
